alarm:clock euro Venture Quiz Winner
Thanks to all the readers that wrote in to answer this week's quiz question: name the the startup company created about five years ago by one of the two famous founders behind the first European software company to be listed on the NASDAQ.

The company name we were looking for was Kiala, co-founded by Denis Payre, also co-founder of Business Objects.
With the vagaries of email we cannot be sure who was the very first to write in, so we are calling out a couple of winners: Entrepreneur Bal Balaji who founded Surfkitchen, now CEO of DeviceDriven, and Edward French, Investment Director at Enterprise Ventures in the UK.
The other winner is Andrew Thomson, research manager at Library House in the UK, who we've asked to cook up this week's question because he is a serial winner.
Bal is familiar with the Business Objects timeline because he met the firm's other famous founder Bernard Liautaud at the France vs England Rugby Finals two years ago in Paris where the two talked about the company's trajectory and its precedent setting story.
