MNI Buys Majority Stake In Polish Mobile Games Startup

Polish media group, MNI, which plans to become a virtual mobile network operator, has acquired a 57 percent stake in a Polish mobile game developer called Breakpoint for a mere €1.2M (via moconews). It seems like a bargain price. Breakpoint employs 35, has brand name operators as customers, and a library of more than 20 mobile games and applications, including arcade puzzle titles, action titles, and a couple it calls "sexy fun".

MNI develops a media for mobile communications, and supplies content for portals and IP television.
