NetDialog Raises VC For Enterprise Virtualization Tools

NetDialog, a Dutch startup whose software is used to manage network applications, particularly in virtualized application environments, has raised €2M from Prime Technology Ventures, which operates in both the UK and NL.
The new capital was raised as the startup launches version two of its flagship product and will be used to open its first international office in the UK and to speed up product development and customer support. The firm counts customers in

NetDialog claims customers in Japan and Europe and delivers its software via SaaS. It was founded in 2003 by several Dutch techies who spent the early parts of their careers climbing the ladder at large US and UK companies, such as Packeteer, Nortel, Predictive Systems and Cable & Wireless.
The kind of software that NetDialog has developed is much-needed by enterprise IT and Network Managers, responsible for making sure network apps, such as SAP, email, trading systems, and the like, are available to all users without interruption or data errors at a reasonable cost, say some of the a:c euro readers (unassociated with the investors or founders) that we asked about this topic.
And although several startups and even big name IT/networking companies have tried to address it, the issue has so far has proved to be an elusive problem to solve.
