Hitflip Acquires Swopex UK
![]()
German startup Hitflip, a person to person DVD, book, and CD exchange, has acquired UK-based Swopex. Founder Jan Miczaika, who wrote in to tell us of the transaction, is executing on his strategy that he talked about here a few months ago.
No disclosure on the terms of the deal. Hitflip is angel-backed so the deal could not have involved a lot of cash. Swopex basically offers the same services and it will be folded into the Hitflip UK business.
