trovit.png

Trovit, a vertical search engine for classifieds in six European countries, has raised €600K from the VC arm of the bank'La Caixa, along with angel investors Luis Martín Cabiedes and Nacho González Barros. We asked Inaki Ecenarro, the startup's founder about the revenue model. Ecenarro replied: Our business model is very simple, based on advertising and charging the sources of the ads (the classifieds sites) for the traffic we redirect to them.

He also told us that Trovit attracted investors "the usual way", through a contact. One of the business angels he met at a First Tuesday event.
