Cisco M&A Machine Back Up

Cisco acquired Wireless LAN networking company Airespace for $450M. Cisco's last acquisition of this magnitude was in March 2003, when it bought consumer wireless device maker Linksys for $500M. This is great news for other networking startups. Airespace had about 7% of the newer market, compared to Cisco's 50%.
