AdBrite and Feedster Teaming Up on RSS?
After posting our profile of AdBrite, we found ourselves wondering about ad networks and RSS. Shouldn't ad networks like AdBrite be figuring out how to bake ads into RSS feeds, as a service to both publishers and advertisers?
No sooner had we posed the question than a mole helped us out with the answer. Our source says AdBrite will "very shortly" be launching a partnership with Feedster to sell ads within RSS feeds. Sounds good to us.
Savvy marketers, if they aren't already, should definitely be exploring ways to integrate with RSS. The a:c already has 90 subscribers reading its musings through Bloglines – and that’s just one RSS reader. We suspect most of these people rarely come to the site – which doesn’t matter to us – but it obviously will to a potential sponsor.

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
