Partying on the Rock of Gibraltar
Details are starting to emerge on PartyGaming, the Gibraltar-based online gambling company that just had a huge IPO in London.

- The sites make about $100K per hour.
- Founders Ruth Parasol and her husband Russell de Leon, both in their 30's, no longer have official positions with the company. They cashed in $270M but still hold $2.7B in stock.
- Parasol previously ran adult chat sites.
- The other two largest share holders, also 30-somethings, are Anurag Dikshit and Vikrant Bhargava. Dikshit is group operations director, who cashed in shares worth about $720M and he still own a 30% stake worth over $2.6B. And Marketing director Bhargava's remaining 9% stake and cash from the IPO should be worth almost $1B. Dikshit and Bhargava met at the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi.
- The PartyGaming people outline in their prospectus that they could lose their business and even go to jail as the online gambling laws are making their way through the US courts.

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
