Management: Founder and President is Mathieu Nouzareth and his brother Romain Nouzareth is founder and CEO. They previously founded the consultancy WebConcept, which they sold to Icon Medialab in 1999.
Investors: In July 2005, the company raised $10M from $10 Million (US) with Rothschild Gestion and SPEF Venture with existing investors OTC Asset Management and Entrepreneur Ventures
Business Model: The company private labels pay-for-play video game downloading to its partners - it currently has about 100 partners - who are Internet portals, ISPs, and mobile operators. It has developed what it calls the BoontyBox, which is a sort of download manager and iTunes for games application. With the money it has raised Boonty plans to market mobile phone games to its partners.
Competitors: CNET Download.com, RealArcade, BigFish Games.
Dirt: There are a number of destination sites on the Net to download and pay for games, but Boonty has done a good job of executing on the proven model of white-labeling the platform. Boonty might not have all the games and might never have them but they are progressing at an impressive clip.

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
