Strong Q2 for Venture Capital

This according to ZDNet Research:

$6.1 bln invested in venture funds in Q2 2005 by ZDNet's ZDNet Research -- VC firms in Q2 2005 raised a total of more than $6.1 bln vs. $2.3 bln in Q2 2004, a 165% jump, according to VentureOne. It was the most lucrative quarter for VC since the Q4 2001.
