Flirtomatic - Yea Baby
Feeling bored and lonely while stuck on the Tube? Grab your cell phone and immediately flirt away with some nurse from Bristol or fireman in Sligo by using Flirtomatic. It is Web-based so even though the company is based in the UK doesn't mean that you have to flirt with pasty-skinned, ill-tempered Brits. Although, the first post we saw was "Boring skinny loser, looking for supermodel." Novel functionality buttons include "Send Wink" and "Send Slap." The new service is free, but has paid premium services. It can also be accessed over the Web.
Flirtomatic was launched today by Soho, London-based Handmade Mobile Entertainment. The company was founded in June 2004 by Avi Azulai who was co-founder of iTouch, a mobile services provider which had an IPO on the London Exchange in 2000. It is backed with an undisclosed amount of funding by Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures.
