Pandora Vs. LivePlasma

We have seen lots of posts today about Oakland, CA-based music discovery engine Pandora, thanks to its funding event today. From our multilingual, Zurich-based correspondent Valerie Thomson we learn about LivePlasma, a French competitor to Pandora that pragmatically plugs into an API from Amazon.com's shopper recommendation engine and that is how the related links are generated. You really should check out the site - the UI is innovative. In contrast to Pandora which has money, offices and a team, LivePlasma is staffed by one elusive guy - Frederic Vavrille.
