MindCandy's CEO is Michael Smith, who previously co-founded the popular gadgets, games and fits site Firebox. He acknowledges that his company is unusual. Its Executive Producer is a Mars freak who spends time in a space suit. Another staffer plays Mic Fleetwood in a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and the company has hired someone who goes by the title of Ad Hoc Polymath.
