Startup to Create 90K Jobs

Over the weekend, Pleasanton-based, VC-backed Five9, a call center ASP that the a:c has profiled, met with Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to discuss Five9's plans to create hundreds of small-and medium-sized call centers that it says may generate more than 90,000 jobs in one year.

A more conservative marketer might have promised only 45,000 jobs.
