Porno's HotMovies.com Claims Web 2.0 Status
For the past three years, HotMovies.com has offered porno-on-demand via the Net for only $0.10 / a minute. This represents an innovation over other porno sites which charge monthly subscriptions. The company says it developed proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) software to give porn-freaks what they want. CEO Dick Cohen explains ""The method we use to deliver content is a variation on the technology used by iPod and iTunes where music lovers purchase only the songs they want and not a complete CD. In the same way, most
people do not want to watch an entire adult DVD. They want to watch a little of this and a little of that."
HotMovies' library now features more than 32k unique titles from over 900 studios including thousands exclusively available only on HotMovies.com and add 50 to 100 new titles every day.
