ScanR is Wicked Cool

ScanR, a startup out of Palo Alto raised some money today to support its product in beta. Backers include Trinity Ventures, Thomvest International and WS Investments. ScanR is a simple idea, but fun and productive. Just got finished with a white board and need to share with a group. Just take camera phone pix, phone email it to ScanR and you'll get a clarified PDF back. ScanR has thought of a number of others uses:
- Keep digital copies of checks
- - Email signed expense reports
- Send notes to meeting attendees
- Fax a contract while on the road
- Scan the cover of a book to help find it later
- Copy classmate’s notes from a class they missed
- Send real estate listings to clients
- Share ideas written on paper with a remote co-worker
- Make copies without the trip to Kinko’s
