RFID's Alien Technology Valued At $577M In Sale

Geneva, Switzerland based Quan Venture Capital boasts on its Web site that:

"On January 17th, Quan Ventures II closed on the sale of its Alien Technology shares to an existing Alien investor. The transaction valued Alien at $577 million, providing a 2.1x cash return."

Quan invested in Alien in 2000. Alien sells RFID chips and readers, primarily serving the supply chain market.
