Marqui Gets $7.5M for Marketing Software

Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR-based Marqui has raised a $7.5M Series B round from two Canadian venture capital firms - Ventures West and GrowthWorks. The new round brings total investment in Marqui to $11M.

Marqui sells marketing management software but is perhaps best know for its "PR" program whereby it payed bloggers to write about it. The company then launched a software module for blog marketing.

The company projects that it will have 75 employees a year from now, it will be profitable two years from now and spins that it will have an IPO after that.
