PayPal Founder Wants Another One
Paypal co-founder Max Levin is a super-sweet guy and hard-driven driven thanks to his Ukrainian immigrant roots, so says the SF Gate. Levin's latest start-up is Slide, a Flickr-like photo site that has migrated through 3 business models. It is now positioned as push media redux.
Still, Levin is stead-fast, proclaiming that Slide will be bigger than PayPal. If a photo site like Slide becomes worth more than the $1.5B that eBay paid for PayPal, our world will seem upside down. Slide is nice enough, but we don't understand why this is a very large opportunity.
