The Low Cost of Fools' Traffic

We keep getting spamed with traffic boost promoters and decided to actually read the spam - for shame!

For $250, one company promised they can deliver 100K unique visitors. It promises a higher Alexa ranking and the ability to raise your advertising billings. This company derives this traffic from people who enter mis-spelled URLs and then they are redirected to your site.

Savvy advertisers understand that the devil is in the details of Internet traffic, but unfortunately many advertisers are paying for fools' traffic.
