With $100M In Revs, Airvana Plans IPO
Chelmsford, MA-based Wirless equipment company Airvana plans an IPO as soon as this Fall. Founded in 2000, Airvana claims more than $100M in revenue in 2005, and has been profitable for two years. The company's switches help Verizon Wireless deliver mobile broadband. A new version will support voice calls using Internet protocol.
Investors include Matrix Partners, Qualcomm, and Desh Deshpande, chairman of Sycamore Networks.
