Genius Incorporated Smartly Raises $5.1M
Calling your company Genius is bold, and tough for salespeople - "Hi This is Larry from Genius, Incorporated." At any rate the company was able to raise $5.1M in Series A funding, led by Emergence Capital Partners and Walden International.
The money comes thanks to the pedigree of founder and CEO David Thompson, who was CMO at WebEx where he was responsible for the infamous RuPaul ad campaigns. Genius offers an ASP for customer data used by sales and marketing.
