Indian Telecom Co. Pays $140M For Larger British Competitor

In what they are calling the single largest overseas acquisition by an Indian software firm, telecom software product company Subex Systems bought British fraud management firm Azure Solutions in a $140M.

Subex actually has smaller revenues - $26M - compared to Azure - $31M. Venture funding companies including Doughty Hanson, Intel Capital, and New Venture Partners, which are investors in Azure Solutions, will hold a 12% stake stake in the combined entity.
