Oracle Sticks a Few Hundred K Into Israel's Yadata

Despite barely having a Web site and an office, Israel's Yadata has been courted by Oracle with a $500K seed investment. Yadata is developing segment relationship management (SRM).

To be fair, the deal may well be more of a result of politics than due diligence. Last summer, Israel signed a cooperation agreement with Oracle, by which, Oracle undertook to invest several million dollars in a number of Israeli start-ups every year.
