Comcast Buys The Platform For Up To $80M

the platform logo.gif Comcast buys rich media services firm The Platform. Seattle-based The Platform had raised $8M from Spark Capital., Viridian Capital and Generation Partners. It is a rich media management service that powers ABCnews.com, CNBC.com, and CourtTV and well as a Comcast site.

CEO Ian Blaine previously founded online personal information management company, Uniplanet, which he sold to NBCi in 1999.

What is the world coming to? One blogger speculates that the price is $70-$80 million and the next one publishes it as fact as a headline?

That WAS NOT THE PRICE.

The actual price is much better for investors than Rafat speculates and by speculation I specifically mean "hearsay".
