Info Edge IPO – The Talk of Bangalore

India’s Info Edge has filed an IPO to raise $29M. Info Edge’s origins were way back in 1997. Its family of sites include Naukri (job search), 99Acres (real estate), Jeevansathi (matrimonials).

The company had revenues of $18.6M and a profit of $3M last year. Info Edge says it is raising the money for M&A. Its most recent investors were Sharpalo Investors (Ram Shriram) and Kleiner Perkins who put in $4.6M.
