SightSpeed Wants To Put Hurt on Skype

sightspeed logo.png Berkeley-based SightSpeed has been around for a while and its management has good pedigrees, but they have been on the sidelines of Web video+voice calling. Thanks to recent distribution deals with CreativeLabs and Logitech, SightSpeed's pickup has been dramatic of late. It doesn't hurt that SightSpeed has been getting great reviews in the consumer tech press. It is fair to say that they have been anointed as the startup to watch as a the contender to Skype's supremacy.
