HeyLetsGo Gets Simoleons from Highland Capital
We haven't seen any announcements of funds raised by Boston's HeyLetsGo, but Highland Capital lists the social networking start-up in its jobs page.
The site is one part MeetUp plus another part Evite. Yuppies are its target market and its rolling the beta out in Boston. No break-through technology here, but the UI is sharp enough. With all the social networking competition out there, we would expect HeyLetsGo to live or die based on its marketing. The start-up was founded by some young MIT Media lab'ers.
