Net By Space-Bird Co. WildBlue Gets Another $350M in Debt Financing

wildbluelogo.gif Just last January Denver's Wildblue Raised $200M and that clearly wasn't enough. This time around Liberty Media and Tennebaum Capital picked up the Tab - Liberty was the primary financier of the last round.

The a:c digs what WildBlue is up to: selling broadband access via satellites to rural folk. Our country buddies who hail from the sticks tell us that Net access is next to godliness and they are willing to fork over a second mortgage to get broadband. The service launched a year ago and currently has more than 85K customers, and on pace at 10K new customers p/mo it is targeting 15M to 20M homes.
