AdMob Chest-thumps: The Biggest Mobile Ad Network. Seqouia Invests
Mobile ad network AdMob claims that in serves 250M ad views per month. Can that be legit? The start-up was only founded in 2006. This number is the money shot that helped the company to just raise an undisclosed amount of Series A from Sequoia Capital. Jim Goetz of Sequoia Capital, and Maynard Webb, former COO of eBay, joined the board.
AdMob claims to be the largest mobile ad network. So wondering how AdMob is positioned against Google Mobile Ads? AdMobs has written a treatise on the subject, but the summary is that it will both work with Google Mobile Ads while believing tht Google cannot lock out competition in every channel.

If you want to give AdMob a whirl, they offer a a $25 test campaign for free.
