BuddyTV = Social Networking + Couch Potatoes

The a:c doesn't have much time for TV, outside of sports. But we do notice that others are crazy for TV shows. Morning radio these days is all about the TV shows.
To serve the thirst for TV chalk talk, BuddyTv has launched. BuddyTv coins the term TVj: staffers who comment, gossip, and lead the discussion of fans of crap like The Amazing Race and Battlestar Galactica.
Founded in 2005 and based in Seattle, BuddyTV's founder Andy Liu came up with the idea with David Niu while having beers near Machu Picchu, Peru last year. The Wharton MBAs had sold their previous company, NetConversions, to aQuantive in 2004.
BuddyTV employs six people. It is boot-strapped and says it has no immediate plans to raise outside capital.
If this were Vegas, we'd put chips on BuddyTV
