eTelemetry Raises Funds For Box That Monitors Your Workers' Internet Usage

etelemetry logo.png
Founded in 1999, Annapolis, MD-based ETelemetry has raised $4M in 1st-round funding led by Centripetal Capital Partners.

eTelemetry's two products, Locate and Metron track unauthorized access to the server and can even track bandwidth usage by individuals, even going so far as to tally surf and chat time. Computerworld describes the need: “Ever wonder who is using your PC when you leave work at night? Are your users doing something they shouldn’t be, such as running peer-to-peer servers or sucking up huge amounts of network bandwidth downloading Internet radio or porn? Are unauthorized users connecting to your network?"

Yet another box Locate911 is used by VoIP operators to locate 911 callers.
