Inside View Raises Funding For Another Sales Tool

We rarely bet against software for sales-people. CFOs will rarely say no to budgets that might help sales. The trick then is to create a product that will catch the interest of sales folk.

San Bruno, CA-based InsideView has closed an oversubscribed angel fund of $1.7M. Its product is focused on helping prioritize the day's work for a salesperson by flagging events or contacts that might help with sales. So you sell recruiting services and a prospect has just raised funding and is looking for more talent. Inside View will flag that for you.

Founded in 2005, InsideView raised the funds from JDM Capital, Rembrandt Venture Partners and angels.
