Why Does Eventful Keep Raising Funds When It's Not Popular?
Eventful.com has raised $7.5M in a 2nd round. The round was led by Bay Partners with previous investors Draper Fisher, Omidyar Network, and angels like Blogger's Evan Williams and Esther Dyson. Eventful previously raised $2.1M in its 1st round, which was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Founded in January 2004 by eBay alum Brian Dear, San Diego-based Eventful is a platform for searching, promoting and sharing events.
