5 Wireless Start-ups For Thanksgiving: EQO
EQO connects your social networks and your IM networks to you cell phone, whatever cell phone you hold In fact they claim to be the first to extend skype to range of phones.
The cool kids love EQO and we love the cool kids, so we expect this to sail, but are just not 100% clear on the revenue plan. The company plans to earn a living by partnering with social network sites to offer premium services but that sounds like they made revenue an after-thought.
Based in Vancouver, BC EQO is financed by the Working Opportunity Fund, managed by GrowthWorks Capital , and BDC Venture Capital.
