Paintball Giants Merge

Alright, this has nothing to do with technology or venture capital. But paintball rocks and we can't ignore the business of paintball. The pair are National Paintball of Sewell, NJ, and Pursuit Marketing of Des Plaines, IL which were bought by a holding company that used an investment from Angelo, Gordon & Co., a New York asset management firm.

The paintball companies sell products -- including paintballs in various colors, the "markers" to fire them and goggles -- under Evil, Piranha, Empire and other brand names.
