Peanut Butter Jelly Time Maker Raises $ For Eefoof

eefoof logo.gif
San Diego-based Eefoof is a video sharing site that does a rev share with creators, in the vein of Revver and others. It has just raised $225K in angel funding from the Tech Coast Angels. Eefoof is spending the money on improving the money and on a marketing campaign. But we think they also need to do something to stand out. Nobody is going to the site, so how is anybody going to make money? With all of the rev share video sites popping up, we suspect there will be room for a start-up that will submit videos to dozens of such sites.

Eefoof was co-founded by Kevin Flynn who previously co-created Peanut Butter Jelly Time - a Flash animation that emerged in the early 2000s and became an Internet phenomenon. Flynn has a good PR story to spin as he says YouTube took all the profits that he should have enjoyed.
