eCredit Bought By Fidelity

Fidelity Ventures has acquired Dedham, MA-based eCredit. No financial terms were disclosed. The start-up sells online solutions for commercial credit and collections professionals. Fidelity also $11M in growth capital. eCredit's VCs were North Hill Ventures, Apex Venture Partners, Internet Capital Group and Sterling Venture Partners.

Fidelity installed Jim Swift as CEO. Swift, a former executive with Seisint, a Florida company that was recently acquired by LexusNexus Group for $775M.
