Outsourced Biz Chat Service inQ Raises $7.75M
We have noticed an increasing number of sites we visit - usually from larger financial companies - are offering live chat as an alternative to a telephone call. We assume the costs are lower to service chat than phone so that's why they are pushing it.
LA-based inQ, which sells outsourced online live chat sales solutions, today announced the closing of $7.75M in series C round led by new investors Emergence Capital and Partech International.
inQ sells its proprietary live chat technology, plus onshore and offshore contact centers and its solution design and management services. In addition, to customer support, Inq is used to increase conversions on various eCommerce fronts.
