Time Inc. Chairman Ann Moore Is Hosed

Time Inc's Lay-offer-In-Chief Ann Moore was a key-note speaker at the SIAA event this week. We recall a couple of years back when Ms. Moore said she didn't like the Internet and hoped that it would back off of Time Inc.'s deadwood revenues. These days, post lay-offs, she is singing a new tune, all jacked up on big time cash they are making from screen savers on SportsIllustrated.com.

Ms. Moore also extolled the recent traffic bump of People.com. Indeed it has made a huge leap. But compare it to the blogs PerezHilton and TheSuperficial and its neck and neck. Perezhilton.com and TheSupercial are guys in their apartments. People.com is 100 people in a Manhattan skyscraper. It continues to amaze us that people like Ann Moore continue to hold credibility.
