Angel Investing Up 10.8% Last Year

Angel investments totaled $25.6B in 2006, a 10.8% increase from 2005 but much of the investment when into health care services and medical devices firms.

The number of angel-backed ventures also went up 3% to 51K, according to the report by the Center for Venture Research at the University of New Hampshire.
