Intel Invests In Online Backup's ElephantDrive

elephantdrive.png
Intel has invested in LA's online backup startup ElephantDrive, says SocalTech. ElephantDrive has developed a desktop client for storage, but it takes advantage of Amazon's S3 storage service to actually provide online storage and backup services to everyday folks who want to backup their pictures, music and videos.

ElephantDrive offers free service but for more bells and whistles a subscriber would pay $9.99 per month.
