MyCoupon's V 2.0 With $750K Product Investment To Position It As Social Network

mycoupons.png
Pittsburgh-based MyCoupons.com, which stakes a claim as the first online coupon site launched in 1995, has been relaunched by its original owner as a social network for coupon clippers. The company boasts: "We have invested close to three quarters of a million dollars over the past year and we are proud to be able, today, to announce our re-birth."

What a twisted road this site has traveled. In April 2000, MyCoupons was sold by Direct Response Technologies to Save.com for $20M However, the deal unraveled as Save.com went bankrupt, and in December 2000, MyCoupons was turned back over to Direct Response Technologies. In January 2006, the site was sold back to original founder Jason Wolfe.
