Web Services Marketplace StrikeIron Gets More Funds
We had no clue that there is a Web service called CDYNE Death Index that we could use to fake death insurance scams. The Web service marketplace StrikeIron allows us to try and buy such services. It is one of the leaders in enterprise mashups, allowing companies to assemble software suits from a variety of We-based companies. Strikeiron does a rev share with the Web software publishers, keeping 30% or revenues.
Durham-based StrikeIron has raised an additional $5M in venture capitall. The series C round of funding brings StrikeIron's total VC backing to $9.6M. The new investor is Ascent Venture Partners.
