Bezos Buys Out ExpenseWatch. Goes Hollywood

Bezos Expeditions has bought out PA-based Expense Management startup ExpenseWatch for an undisclosed amount.
The company offers a Web-based subscription service that gives small-to-midsized companies tools to control and reduce operating expenses. Expensewatch says it added more than 6,500 new subscribers and 82 new customers from Q1 2006 through Q1 2007.

It looks like Bezos needs to manage his own expenses more tightly. Bezos just closed on a $30M Beverly Hills mansion. It has just seven bedrooms and 11,900 square feet but Tom Cruise is his next door neighbor. This has us wondering why on Earth Bezos wants a Beverly Hills house. He'll probably be the ugliest guy on the block. Maybe he wants to produce films?
