FatDoor Funded For Welcome Wagon/Nosy Neighbors/Maps
FatDoor is a Palo Alto-based startup in stealth mode that expects to launch in the next few weeks. The company has raised VC funding and is hiring up but at this point we don't know the VCs nor amount.
We believe the idea is that you can call up a map of your neighborhood to get nosy about what your neighbors do for a living and what their house costs (thanks Zillow API).
The company was founded by Raj Abhyanker a patent attorney, who also founded LegalForce, an online marketplace for intellectual property. He has also been a CEO of: AOLClassifieds.com, MacInsider, Everest Clay, ReCapture, and Clay Pixel Studios and he was the Director of Supply Chain for Juniper Networks.
