LA-based Democracy Machine Funded/Seeking CEO

Rick Cowan, Chairman and founder of The Democracy Machine, says that his political social network under development has raised funding and he is actively seeking a CEO to run it. Says Cowan of the startup: "Part social network, part MMPOG, part rich internet application, the Democracy Machine will change the way people engage in civic activities."
