London's MoveMe Gains Funding

moveme logo.png
MoveMe has won investors to back their new home moving web service – Moveme.com. Angel backers include Brent Hoberman, founder of lastminute.com and venture firm Advent Venture Partners and The Accelerator Group.

We have seen a couple of these companies in the US (AllConnect has raised $23M to date last we checked and Monster.com owns Moving.com) but we like Moveme.com's interface better. In the US, these companies make money through lead generation deals with gas, cable, and telephone providers.
