Microsoft's Gteko Spins Off Tween Girl Social Net GirlSense

Israel's eSupport company Gteko, which was bought by Microsoft last year, spun off a consumer Web based called StarNet Interactive which operates KiddoNet and GirlSense.

Girlsense is a free ad-based website that original fashion designs created by members. Girlsense claims that over 1M fashion t-shirts were created in the first two weeks of launch. Girls can design their own trendy fashions, display them in their boutiques and sell them to other girls using the site's virtual currency called G-cents. GirlSense claims 1M unique monthly visitors and over 10.5M registered members.
