+ What are the hottest companies in Silicon Valley? Reid Hoffman posted this on LinkedIn's question and answer service. Top answers were: NetSuite, Linden Research, LinkedIn, AdMob, Digg, NanoSolar and Tesla received multiple nominations. Bebo, AdBrite and Aggregate Knowledge.

+ Buzzillions. After 2 years of development product review business Buzzillions launched to great reviews.

+ Finland's Jaiku. Competing with Twitter, Jaiku won over Twitter's most popular user Leo Laport.

+ Ad networks. A recent report discovered that advertisers say they are overwhelmed with the number of ad networks and wish there were fewer.

+ David Sifry (Technorati's Founder/CEO. Valleywag reported that Technorati has a search on for a new CEO.

+ Photobucket. It can't be comforting to PhotoBucket, which has put potential buyers on notice that it is available for sale, that MySpace keeps blocking it.
